胡彪，中共党员，现为深圳大学土木与交通工程学院副教授（长聘），特聘研究员，博士生导师，硕士生导师，每年招收硕士研究生3-4人，博士研究生1-2人（欢迎发邮件咨询：biaohu3-c@szu.edu.cn）。研究方向包括复合材料结构、结构加固、结构耐久性、固废资源化利用等。已在重要期刊（包括，Journal of Structural Engineering ASCE；Journal of Composites for Construction ASCE；Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering ASCE；Engineering（中国工程院院刊）；Engineering Structures；Composites Part B；International Journal of Mechanical Science；Journal of Cleaner Production）发表SCI论文70余篇。授权中国发明专利21项，美国/英国发明专利10项，中国实用新型专利4项，软件著作权13项。参编行业/团体标准规范2项。

        主持国家自然科学基金项目3项（面上项目2项、青年基金1项）、广东省自然科学基金面上项目1项、深圳市自然科学基金1项、国家重点实验室开放课题1项、深圳市孔雀C科研启动项目1项、深圳大学学科竞赛项目2项；参与基金委联合基金重点项目、科技部国际合作重点专项、深圳市孔雀团队项目等10余项纵/横向项目。

        获得2018年美国土木工程师协会（ASCE）Moisseiff Award 、2022年广东省科技进步二等奖、2023年国际先进材料协会（IAAM）的IAAM Scientist Medal、2024年第49届日内瓦国际发明展金奖、2024年广东省科技进步一等奖、2025年第50届日内瓦国际发明展特许金奖、2025年中国发明协会发明创业奖创新奖二等奖等国内外奖励。

        受邀担任6本SCI期刊的编委/青年编委，包括Scientific Reports (中科院二区)、Journal of Composites Science等 ；担任4本SCI期刊特刊的客座主编。

        分别为国际学术组织International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC)和American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)的会员和副会员。担任Nature Communications，Journal of Structural Engineering ASCE等70余本SCI期刊的审稿人。

Dr. Biao Hu is a tenured Associate Professor in the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University. He supervises both PhD and master's students, with an annual intake of 3–4 master's candidates and 1–2 PhD candidates. His research interests span composite structures, structural retrofitting, structural durability, and solid waste recycling. He has published over 70 SCI-indexed papers in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Structural Engineering (ASCE), Journal of Composites for Construction (ASCE), Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (ASCE), Engineering (Journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Engineering Structures, Composites Part B, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, and Journal of Cleaner Production.

He holds 21 Chinese invention patents, 10 invention patents from the US and UK, 4 Chinese utility model patents, and 13 software copyrights. He has also contributed to the development of two industry and group standards.

Dr. Hu has served as Principal Investigator (PI) for three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC): two General Programs and one Youth Science Fund Program. His additional PI projects include a General Program of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, a Shenzhen Natural Science Foundation project, an open research project of the State Key Laboratory, a startup grant under the Shenzhen Peacock Plan (Category C), and two disciplinary competition projects at Shenzhen University. He has also participated in more than 10 government-funded and industry-sponsored research projects, including the NSFC Key Joint Fund Project, the Key International Science and Technology Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Shenzhen Peacock Team Project.

His honors and awards include the 2018 ASCE Moisseiff Award, the 2022 Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the 2023 IAAM Scientist Medal from the International Association of Advanced Materials, a Gold Medal at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (2024), the 2024 First Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, a Special Gold Medal at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (2025), and the 2025 Second Prize (Innovation Category) of the Invention & Entrepreneurship Award from the China Invention Association.

He serves on the editorial board or youth editorial board of six SCI-indexed journals, including Scientific Reports (CAS Q2) and Journal of Composites Science, and has acted as Guest Editor for four special issues of SCI journals.

He is a full Member of the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC) and an Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He also serves as a peer reviewer for over 70 SCI-indexed journals, among them Nature Communications and Journal of Structural Engineering (ASCE).

Dr. Hu has supervised undergraduate and graduate students in a range of academic competitions, including the Guangdong Provincial College Student Mechanics Competition, the National Zhou Peiyuan College Student Mechanics Competition, and the National College Innovation Competition on Domestic Software Application and Design. His students have won more than 20 awards to date.
