Dr. Amirhossein Karamoozian is an Assistant Professor in the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering (Project Management) from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), where he graduated with honors and was awarded the title of Excellent International Graduate Students. Dr. Karamoozian has held academic and research positions at UCAS, including CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) Postdoctoral Fellow and Special Research Assistant (Lecturer). His academic background integrates civil engineering with decision science and advanced analytical methods, enabling him to address complex challenges in construction and infrastructure systems. His research focuses on construction project risk management, decision-making under uncertainty, supply chain risk, multi-criteria decision-making, fuzzy theory, sustainable development, life-cycle assessment, and building information modeling (BIM). He has published extensively in leading international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (ASCE), and Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management.
